Ingersoll Rand Cordless Impact W7150 with 1100 ft lbs Torque

This Ingersoll Rand ½” cordless impact W7150 will have the same torque number as the very popular 2135TiMax ½” gun. That is 780 ft.lbs. operating torque and an amazing 1100 ft.lbs. nut busting torque. Until now it was simply accepted a cordless impact gun will not have the power of a pneumatic tool, we may see that all change when the W7150 gun is released in January 2012. The platform looks to be a new 20V IQv battery and does not look to be compatible with existing Ingersoll Rand IQv Cordless tools or charger. Below are 3 new videos from the recent SEMA show.
