Milwaukee Combination Wrench Sets with Max Bite

Milwaukee Wrench Sets

Got to give credit to the team at Milwaukee only a few short years ago they didn’t make 1 hand tools now they are quickly becoming the leaders in many hand tool categories. Combination wrench sets are a little trickier to improve upon as they have done in many other categories but it looks like they have added some nice features. Max Bite on the open end provides up to 25% torque improvement, rounded I-beam design is more comfortable to use, included trays are nice for tool chest storage and ink filled sizing makes identification fast. All around a nice package at a fair price with a life time warranty.

Milwaukee Hardline Pocket Knives Feature D2 Steel

D2 Steel Pocket Knife

We were teased with a premium line of knives at Milwaukee’s 2015 event but the 2016 New Product Symposium made it official. Milwaukee has had great success with their FastBack Knives with utility blades and fixed blades and the recently launched FastBack Compact 48-22-1906 is the best knife we’ve ever owned for under $9. It is this exceptional value which gives us great hope for this new higher end line of pocket knives, Milwaukee’s Hardline Knives are intended to be the next step-up with high end D2 steel and premium features but a price point of $59-$79 which is about half the price of the competition they will be going against. Milwaukee Fastback Revamp & Fastback Compact

Milwaukee Fastback Flip

The Milwaukee Fastback utility knives have been extremely popular for several years now. With the launch of the Fastback pocket knives and more recently the camo Fastback pocket knife that popularity has only grown. The one handed fast open really sets these tools apart from other folding utility knives and if we had one complaint it would be that the Fastback knives are on the larger side for folding utility knives. Both the new Fastback Utility Knives have addressed the size but the Compact Fastback really should fill the gap for those looking for a smaller profile. (more…)

Special Wilton Vise & BASH Hammer Limited Edition 11128BH

Bash Wilton Vise Deal

For over 50 years the Wilton Bullet Vise has been the top of the line option in vise category of course Wilton has a full range of options including their more economically friendly line of Utility Vises. Recently Wilton brought that same toughness to a new line of indestructible B.A.S.H. hammers (Bad Ass Sledge Hammer). While the response to these hammers has been very positive there is still a large group of professional users not willing to invest the higher cost upfront for the BASH hammer. For those that got 1 BASH they continue to replace their wood or fiberglass handled sledges with these longer lasting and safer hammers.

The big challenge for Wilton BASH hammers is getting people to try them in the first place which everyone’s willing to do if you give it to them for FREE. The solution, package their most popular BASH Hammer 4lb 20412 ($47) with their most popular Wilton Utility 6.5” Vise 11128 ($189) and sell the two as a packaged deal 11128BH ($149) for less than the vise alone! This looks like the BASH hammer actually used in the video above to pound out the fuel tank.  (more…)
