Matrix Quick Connect System Tools from Black and Decker

It certainly does not seem like multi-headed tool systems are going away anytime soon with several major consumer tool brands adopting them. The Black and Decker will be the first we know of that makes it available to multiple power sources of 12V, 20V and AC. Getting into these kits with the basic drill/driver is very cheap with $39 for AC, $49 for 12V and $69 for 18V kits. For customers looking to add functionality of a router, impact, sander, saw or multitool, at only $29-39 an attachment add-on, this system will be very attractive in the checkout line of the box store.

These multi-headed tool systems seem to be pretty functional for occasional DIY use. It will be interesting to see if one of the pro tool brands tries to come out with a more heavy duty multi-headed tool at some point.
