Milwaukee Introduces Industry’s First Utility Bucket LED Light

header

Milwaukee expands on its commitment to utilities, linemen and innovates on its growing cordless lighting systems with their introduction of the new M18 Utility Bucket Light. The Bucket Light features a patented spring-loaded bucket clamp that fits all buckets and bucket liners up to 4” and allows for easy attachment, deployment, and movement and even works on the corner of the bucket.

The M18 Bucket Light is a great substitute for ground or helmet lighting that can cast shadows through branches and around the pole. It also has a low profile design that only extends 7-3/4” from the bucket to prevent contact with branches or poles. An interior utility hook provides a convenient place to hang tools in crowded buckets as well.

The M18 Bucket Light features a 2-in-1, dual-head design, with each head allowing for independent 180 degree rotation horizontally and vertically for effective illumination of the immediate task area and farther away down the line.

Similar to the Milwaukee M18 Search Light 2354-21 ($229), the Bucket Light has 3 light modes that can be set independently on both light heads:

Spot: 800 Lumens, 6 hours run time
Flood: 2500 Lumens, 4 hours run time
Spot/Flood: 200 Lumens, 4 hours run time

*Run times calculated based on 2-head operation using 9.0 Ah High Demand Battery 48-11-1890 ($199)*

Designed to withstand the environments in which most linemen work on a daily basis, the Bucket Light is IP56 Ingress Protected against dust and water to withstand severe weather conditions. It also features a sealed battery compartment for use in heavy rain and storms. It is certified for use in high voltage environments up to 69 KV and has a chemical and impact resistant lens that can take falls up to 6 feet.

The Milwaukee M18 Bucket Light is available as a bare tool 2122-20 ($749), and two kit options, the 2122-21HD ($899) that includes one 9.0 Ah High Demand Battery 48-11-1890, and the 2 battery kit 2122-22HD that includes 2x 9.0 Batteries ($1049). Both battery kit options include a M18 & M12 Rapid Charger 48-59-1808 and a Milwaukee backpack designed to carry your new light in. All 3 kits are available for pre-order now and will ship mid to late January 2017.
