Milwaukee Tool New Storage Solutions

Tool Storage Bag

We have gotten several updates recently about new Milwaukee Tool Storage Solutions which we will hope to see firsthand in June Milwaukee’s New Product Symposium #NPS16. It appears they are attacking storage from all angles with additional options for in the shop as well as several on the go solutions.  Milwaukee tool organizer

The New Milwaukee Jobsite Tech Bag 48-22-8210 ($99) builds on the great success of the Milwaukee Backpack 48-22-8200 ($99) with many of the same construction features 1680D ballistics material, heavy duty zippers and impact resistant solid hard bottom to ensure the bag always stays up while you are working. The tech bag adds some additional pockets for a total of 53 (we thought the backpack had a good amount with 35) and of course space for a laptop. The tech bag also adds a nice rainfly to quickly protect the bag when needed. This bag goes right up against Klein & VetoPack and designed for electricians, plumbers, mechanicals and many other service work applications. Coming in May 2016.

Bucket Organizer

Of course the low tech solution for tool storage is the 5 gallon bucket, readily available for free in most cases. Buckets are used for a lot of different applications on the job so it makes a natural transport for different tools and supplies. Milwaukee is now offering a Bucket Organizer Wrap 48-22-8175 ($25) which offers a nice value with 32 pockets (2 zippered) and even a comfortable carry handle. Coming April 2016.

30-toolchest

For the shop storage Milwaukee Tool is launching several new mechanics tool chests to accompany the 48” box 48-22-8500 ($699, Home Depot) launched last year. The new 30” tool chest 48-22-8530 ($499, Home Depot) is very similar to the 48” version but with a slightly slimmer footprint. The 60” mobile work station 48-22-8560 ($599, Home Depot) features a long work surface and 22” peg hook backboard to really create a nice work space anywhere you need it. Of course it also offers a lot of storage as well and all offer integration to easily charge cordless tool batteries on the side. These 3 Milwaukee Tool mechanics chests however are exclusively sold in Home Depot for the time begin.
