Our friends over at Pro Tool Reviews do an excellent job of reviewing tools and more specifically side-by-side testing many of the industry’s best most popular power tools and accessories. We were very excited to see them bring all that comparison testing knowledge into an annual innovation award series called the Pro Tool Innovation Awards 2013.
The awards are broken into 9 main categories: Corded Tools, Cordless Tools, Hand Tools, Pneumatic Tools, Test & Measurement, Fasteners, Storage, Accessories and Clothing. From there each category goes even deeper for dozens of winners, one for each sub-category; under cordless you’ll find winners for each specific tool type for both 12V & 18V. It does mean a lot of winners but it very thoroughly cover everything making it a nice showcase of the latest & greatest tools for 2013. It is organized in a way that would be very helpful if you are in the market for something specific, say an 18V reciprocating saw (Winner: M18 FUEL Sawzall).
