RIDGID’s press tools are something of an industry standard as far as press tools go, and press tools in general are becoming more and more widely adopted as people realize how much easier they are than busting out some solder. The RP 340 has the same capacity for pipe as the older 330, but clocks in at 30% smaller, 17% lighter, has a 30% longer service interval and can be switched between Corded and cordless use through the use of an AC adaptor rather than a fixed cord. It works with all the great RIDGID ProPress, MegaPress, Pex tools, and snap cutters that have already been released, and is backed by the same limited lifetime warranty we have come to know and love from RIDGID tools.
