Milwaukee NPS18 What is Coming & What We Didn’t See

Milwaukee NPS18

We’re going to start this off with what we didn’t see at Milwaukee’s NPS18 event before jumping into all the good stuff. Of course everyone has a ton of wants, needs and guess on what new products are getting launched at these events but they can only do so much. Steve Richman, Milwaukee’s President got up and said the answer is YES we are going to make that; for pretty much any (logical) tool you are asking about just a matter of time. So For this year’s event no M18 tracksaw, no M18 trim routers, no cordless M18 framing nailer, no new M18 drain cleaning/plumbing, no M18 lawn mower and no revival of the Titan Workcarts. But we did see a ton of exciting stuff and PRE-SALE M18 Tools are already up!!!!

Milwaukee Carbide Circular Saw Blades Reboot

Milwaukee Circular Saw Blades

As we speak Milwaukee is shipping their new line up of Carbide Circular Saw Blades for wood-cutting and fiber cement with polycrystalline diamond (PCD) tips which covers just about any size and application for construction. From 5-3/8” to 12” with basic rip blades to 100 teeth finish blades, they got all the bases covered. This is a very logical step for Milwaukee with what must be hundreds of thousands of circular saws, miter saws and hopefully someday they’ll have a table saw as well, all those saws need blades. It doesn’t make any sense for them not to have a premium blade lineup.

Safe Cracking with Milwaukee Carbide Torch & Carbide HoleDozer

Carbide Sawzall Blades

We just received this Milwaukee PACKOUT sample case and challenge to use the accessories to do the #CarbideGaunet. While drilling through some nail embedded wood or rebar a few hundred time sounds like fun we really wanted to see if these could handle something a little more challenging, like getting into a safe! Certainly those have to be tough right, are these new accessories tough enough to drill thought the locking mechanism or cut through the entire safe?
