Possibly one of our new favorite tools, not only becuase it looks like a weapon out of a Japanese comic book, but also because it may change the way a lot of us cut concrete. Price on the hydraulic unit is pretty pricy for the Dragon Saw HDS60 ($6952, Ohio Power Tool) but in many ways will be a cost savings once these units get into production. Also Pneumatic, Electic and Gas units should be coming soon and all look to be more economically priced. In the mean time check out the latest video to really learn more about the inner workings of this machine… you may want to skip to 1:17.
For the third year in a row Ohio Power Tool is being honored as one of the 50 fastest growing companies in central Ohio, representing 6 years of consistent growth for the 27 year old family business. While 2009 was a trying year for many businesses, especially those in the construction supply industries, Ohio Power Tool managed to produce modest growth while strengthening relationships with vendors, customers and even growing its team of highly knowledgeable staff while other were making cuts.
Ohio Power Tool considers its people their most valuable asset with an average team member having over 20 years experience in the business. The growth of their internet side of the business has allowed Ohio Power Tool to become extremely competitive on price as well as stock a wider range of hard to find items. The combination of this high level of technical support and internet pricing makes them an attractive destination for both local and national customers. As the construction market turns around they look to be in a very nice position to keep up with growing customer demand and continue their trend of growth.
